Farming on the Rockin G and B

Or should the title read Farming on Rock. When the realization came to us last August that life was to short not to follow our passions, the thought of growing vegetables and flowers on our 8 acres of Hill Country Land where the soil depth averages 1/2" topsoil on limestone and clay did not seem to matter.

So we started just as we have for the last eight years, cut down cedar, mulch cedar, move rocks, move more rocks, and move more rocks...........
