Votes are In

Thanks to all of you who participated in my little poll. The votes are in and it looks like I am going to start a new blog. The blog will be dedicated to recipes, my craft projects and a pinch of this and a pinch of that. Now let's see...I have to come up with a name for the blog...hmmm any suggestions? Hey that sounds like a contest! Yes, let's have a contest. E-mail me your suggestions, I will have a poll and the blog name with the most votes wins a prize! This will be my first blog giveaway! :O) We will keep the Rockin' G & B about progress on the place and what we are up to.

Figured Out

Good news and bad news. First the good news...I think I figured out the problem with not being able to post comments on the family blogs. I know, I know I'm a little slow. Hey that rhymed. Wait stay right here I'm going to go check my "test" comment...I'm back and it worked! I just checked The Simpsonian blog and my comment was there!! Now the bad news...we can post comments. :O)

Welcome

Welcome "Crazy Castillo Family" to the blogging world! We are so happy our niece Cassondra accepted the nomination to start their blog. We know how busy she is, so we will appreciate any blogging she can give us. Of course she doesn't have to be the ONLY one from the family blogging...right Ted, Jan, Jimmy, Zac, & Rebecca ? :O) Rios and Sitters families you are next! Now, how come I can post comments on their blog and not the other family blogs (see Happy belated post)? This is very frustrating!

Prayers for Gerald

Please pray for Gerald as he is trying to quit the cigarette thing. Last Sunday was his "real" first day of quitting. A couple of weeks ago he purchased a box of Nicoderm CQ patches. He started off by carrying around an unopened patch in his pocket to pull out and look at everytime he wanted a cigarette. At first I wasn't sure what the reasoning behind that was, he explained it helped him cut back. Sunday he decides is THE day. He had to fly to Denver that day for a meeting on Monday morning. He had a great time, they did some touristo stuff Sunday afternoon and evening. Monday, he did great. Monday night he comes home he was still doing great. So far, so good. Until Tuesday when...
